(A) Any person violating any provision of this chapter for which no specific penalty is prescribed shall be subject to § 70.99.
(C) Upon a violation of any provision of any part of §§ 73.35 through 73.44, an owner, lessee or operator of the off-road vehicle shall be fined in a sum not to exceed $200. Each and every independent violation shall constitute a new and separate offense. If two or more violations occur in one calendar year in connection with one off-road vehicle, said off-road vehicle’s permit shall be suspended for a period of one calendar year, beginning with the date of the occurrence of the last violation. Said suspension shall not affect the annual inspection requirements set forth in § 73.43. In addition to the foregoing, an off-road vehicle that is in violation of any provision of this traffic code or which is operated by a person found to be in violation of §§ 73.35 through 73.44 may be towed at the discretion of the Town Marshal. Said off-road vehicle shall not be returned to its owner until all penalties have been paid, and, if applicable, said owner has provided proof that the circumstances giving rise to the violation of §§ 73.35 through 73.44 have been corrected.
(D) Upon violation of any provision of any part of §§ 73.15 through 73.23, an owner, lessee or operator of a golf cart shall be fined in a sum not to exceed $50 for the first offense and $100 for the second and reoccurring offenses. Each and every independent violation shall constitute a new and separate offense. If two or more violations occur in one calendar year in connection with one golf cart, said golf cart permit shall be suspended for a period of one calendar year beginning with the date of the occurrence of the last violation. Said suspension shall not affect the annual inspection requirements set forth in § 73.23. In addition to the foregoing, a golf cart that is in violation of any provision of this traffic code or which is operated by a person found to be in violation of §§ 73.15 through 73.23 may be towed at the discretion of the Town Police Department.
