(a) The hunting of animals or fowl within the City limits, by any means other than the use of a firearm as defined by Ohio Revised Code Section 2923.11 is prohibited. This section does not apply to properly supervised and controlled means designed to control or eliminate nuisance animals and fowls within the City, or hunting on City owned land as set forth in Section 919.05 of the Codified Ordinances. Such supervision shall be through the Safety-Service Director or his/her designee.
(b) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor.
