(A) In the event of a violation of any section of this subchapter, the Mayor shall give notice to the owner, occupant, or person having charge of the premises upon which the violation occurs to cease such violation. Such notice shall be in writing and shall be served upon the owner, occupant or person having charge of the premises either personally by an officer of the Buckland Police Department at the usual place of residency of such owner, occupant or person having charge of such premises or by registered or certified mail addressed to such person’s last place of residence.
(B) If the person served with notice as provided in division (A) above fails to cause the violation to be ceased within 10 days of the date upon which the notice was issued, that person shall be subject to the penalty provided in § 174.99 and a separate offense shall be deemed committed upon each and every day during or on which the violation occurs or continues beyond the 10-day period, provided, however, that no additional notice of violation is required to be given for the subsequent days.
