A. Restrictions: As of January 1, 2018, an aboveground storage tank or tanks (AST) used for the dispensing or storage of gasoline, diesel fuel, and volatile oils and which does not have a current State of Illinois - Illinois State Fire Marshal permit, will not be allowed in the Village corporate limits. After January 1, 2018, no aboveground storage tanks used for dispensing or storage of gasoline, diesel fuel, and volatile oils will be allowed in the Village corporate limits.
B. Compliance With State Regulations: If there are any aboveground storage tanks in the Village corporate limits, they must have a current State of Illinois Fire Marshal permit and follow all State of Illinois - State of Illinois Fire Marshal rules and regulations concerning aboveground storage tanks.
