The Village Clerk, pursuant to authorization by the Village Board, police, and/or Police Committee Chairperson, may serve or cause to be served a notice in writing upon the owner, agent, occupant or person in possession, charge or control of any vehicle, which appears to be in violation of this chapter or upon the owner, agent, occupant or person in possession, charge or control of any lot, building or premises in or upon which any inoperable vehicle in violation of this chapter is situated, requiring him to remove the same within a specified reasonable time, not to exceed thirty (30) days. If not removed, will be removed pursuant to subsection 5-5-5B of this chapter. (Ord. 02-2, 5-14-2002; amd. 2018 Code)
