9-1-7: NOTICE OF VIOLATION; FAILURE TO COMPLY:
If at any time after the effective date hereof, the Village Clerk shall find that any person is engaged in construction without having first obtained a permit, or any person who, holding a permit, is in violation of said permit in any particular, it shall be the duty of the code enforcement officer to notify such violator by posting a notice of violation on the property in a conspicuous and accessible location. Said notice shall state the nature of the violation and shall further state that unless there is compliance with the terms of this chapter within thirty (30) days from the receipt of such notice, the violator shall be subject to the fines and penalties hereinafter prescribed. If, upon the expiration of such thirty (30) days, the code enforcement officer shall find continued failure to comply, he shall revoke the permit in the case of violation thereof and assess the fines and penalties hereinafter prescribed.
