All public streets, alleys, sidewalks and other public ways in the Village shall be under the supervision of the Committee on Streets and Alleys. It shall have supervision over all work thereon, and shall have power to enforce all ordinance provisions relating to such public places, and is hereby authorized to enforce such ordinances.
