For the purposes of this chapter, the following words and terms shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section.
(a) "Establishment" means any privately owned place of business carried on for a profit or any place of amusement or entertainment to which the public is invited.
(b) "Juvenile" means any person under the age of eighteen years.
(c) "Operator" means any individual, firm, association, partnership or corporation operating, managing or conducting any establishment. Whenever used in any clause prescribing a penalty, the term "operator" as applied to an association or partnership shall include the members or partners thereof and as applied to a corporation, shall include the officers thereof.
(d) "Parent" means any natural parent, guardian or any adult person, eighteen years of age or over, responsible for the care and custody of a juvenile.
(e) "Public place" means any public street, highway, road, alley, park, playground, public building, vacant lot or public park.
(f) "Remain" means loiter, idle, wander, drive, stroll or play in or upon.
