(a) A local certificate of occupancy shall be obtained as required by Section 1181.06 of the Planning and Zoning Code prior to occupying a building or site for which a zoning certificate and work permit has been issued. Prior to issuing the certificate of occupancy, the Zoning Administrator shall verify that the accurate property number has been posted as required in Chapter 1335.
(b) All applicants receiving a work permit for a building, except for a One, Two and Three-Family Dwelling, shall transmit to the Zoning Administrator a copy of the State of Ohio- issued Certificate of Occupancy within seven days of receipt, and a copy of the same shall be kept on file in the City Engineering Department.
