1305.04 FIRE OFFICIAL.
   For the purposes of this Building Code, the Fire Official shall have the following powers and duties.
   (a)   Conducts plan review and establishes standards for fire prevention that may exceed minimum standards set by the State of Ohio, in accordance with this Building Code and Chapter 1325.
   (b)   Issues permits for fire alarms, detection systems and fire suppression systems.
   (c)   Enforces all provisions of the Building Code related to fire prevention.
   (d)   Inspects properties for compliance with fire prevention requirements.
   (e)   Issues stop work orders whenever he or she determines that any installation or construction fails to comply with any provision of this Building Code related to fire prevention.
