For the purposes of this Building Code, the City Engineer shall have the following powers and duties.
(a) Reviews and acts on all improvement plans, including grading and utilities.
(b) Maintains the City of Bryan’s official “Property Numbering and Base Line Map” in accordance with Chapter 1335.
(d) Condemns unsafe structures, in compliance with the requirements and procedures set forth in Chapter 1355.
(e) Regulates and supervises the installation and construction of all drains and sewers constructed within the City, including house drains, house sewers and all laterals draining into the City sewer system, according to Ohio R.C. 3781.03.
(f) Issues stop work orders whenever the installation and/or construction of any drain or sewer fails to comply with this Building Code.
