The purpose of the Building Code as adopted herein is to provide uniform, minimum standards, requirements and procedures, which, in conjunction with the City of Bryan Planning and Zoning Code and other city ordinances, govern the erection, construction, repair, alteration, demolition, moving and maintenance of buildings and structures within the City so that such buildings and structures are safe and sanitary for their intended use and occupancy.
