Whoever violates any provision of this chapter shall be, upon conviction or a plea of guilty, subject to a fine not less than one hundred fifty dollars ($150.00) per occurrence, nor more than five hundred dollars ($500.00) per occurrence. In addition, the person shall replace the tree with a size and species recommended by the Tree Commission. Each tree affected by noncompliance with this chapter shall constitute a separate violation.
