Petitions for vacation of streets and alleys may be obtained from the Director of Planning and Zoning, City Hall, or may be initiated by the person requesting the vacation or his/her designated representative. Completed petitions shall be returned to the Director of Building and Planning, along with the required fee and supportive materials as required by the Director of Building and Planning, at least four weeks prior to the meeting of the Planning Commission at which the petition is to be considered. Petitions received less than four weeks in advance of a meeting will be placed on the agenda of the next Planning Commission meeting.
