763.01 LICENSE; FEE.

Whoever operates or controls the operation of a taxicab, or similar vehicle, used for the transportation of people as a public conveyance for hire, shall secure a license from the Mayor. The charge for the license shall be twenty-five dollars ($25.00) per year, per taxicab.
