248.08 COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST.
   (a)   There is hereby created the position of Communications Specialist for the Division of Police, in such numbers as the Administration shall determine. The City Manager/Safety Director shall be responsible for the hiring of such Communications Specialist but the position shall be under the direct jurisdiction of the Chief of Police.
 
   (b)   The duties of the Communications Specialist shall include typing, filing, record-keeping and such other duties as are assigned by the Chief of Police.
