(a) There is hereby established the full-time position of Assistant Court Clerk. The Director of Law shall have the control of the hiring of such Clerk and such position shall be in the unclassified service. The Assistant Court Clerk shall assist the Department of Law and the Mayor's Court and shall perform all duties assigned to him or her by the Di rector of Law and the Mayor.
(b) The Assistant Court Clerk shall give a security bond to the City in the sum of five thousand dollars ($5,000), approved as to form by the Director of Law.
