232.01 ASSISTANT TO THE DIRECTOR OF LAW.

(a) There is hereby established the position of Assistant to the Director of Law. The Assistant shall be a practicing attorney admitted to practice in the State and shall be designated by the Director of Law, subject to the approval of Council.

(b) The Assistant to the Director shall assist the Director in all legal matters, including, but not limited to, the prosecution of cases brought before the Mayor's Court. He shall be directly responsible to the Director and shall assist the Director in the performance of his duties.
