222.01 PUBLISHING AND POSTING REGULATIONS.
   (a)   Ordinances, resolutions, statements, orders, proclamations, notices and reports by law to be published shall be published as directed by Charter Section 3.15(d), as same may be amended from time to time.

   (b)    In the event that further notice of such matters is required by law to be published, or upon order of Council in specific instances to do so, the same may be published in a newspaper printed in the English language and of general circulation in the City.

222.02 TIME REQUIRED FOR POSTING.
    The posting or publication referred to in Section 222.01 shall be for the following periods of time:
   (a)   The required period of time for ordinances, resolutions and proclamations of elections shall be once a week for two consecutive weeks in the case of publication and two consecutive weeks in the case of posting.
   (b)   The required period of time for notices shall be not less than two nor more than four consecutive weeks.
   (c)   All other matters shall be published once.

222.03 CARE OF MUNICIPAL DOCUMENTS.
   All official records of the City shall at all times be kept within the Municipal Building. No person, unless authorized by Council to do so, shall for any purpose remove any such records from the Municipal Building, and no official or employee of the City, under whose jurisdiction and in whose custody any of such records are, shall permit the same to be removed from the Municipal Building. However, nothing contained in this section shall be deemed to prevent the removal of any such records pursuant to a lawful order or subpoena of any court or public body having the power to require their production, the removal thereof by City officials without subpoena for the use of a court or other judicial or administrative body in cases in which the City is a party or the removal thereof for temporary copying, photostatting or printing incident to the codification or recodification of City ordinances.
