11.02 TRANSITIONAL PERIOD
   On January 1, 1975, all elected and appointed officials shall assume the same duties as under the statutory form of government. Upon the appointment of a City Manager, the former Mayor shall assume the duties of Mayor under this Charter, thereby abolishing the position of President of Council. All other elected or appointed administrative officials shall remain in office until their successors are appointed by the City Manager. All elected legislative officials shall remain in office until December 31, 1975 when their term of office expires. These officials shall have all the rights and powers provided herein the same as if they had been elected under the provisions of this Charter.
