The City of Brunswick shall have all powers of local self-government and home rule now or hereinafter granted to municipalities by the Constitution and laws of the State of Ohio. All such powers shall be exercised in the manner prescribed by this Charter or if not prescribed herein, then in such manner as may now or hereafter be provided by the laws of the State of Ohio. No enumeration of specific powers in this Charter shall be held to be exclusive. There is reserved to the people the right to petition for redress of grievances.
