Any person desiring to raze any primary building in the City shall deposit with the Chief Building Official or designee a bond of two hundred dollars ($200.00), which bond shall consist of two certified checks drawn in favor of the City in the amount of one hundred ninety dollars ($190.00) and ten dollars ($10.00), respectively, and shall be conditioned upon the faithful and prompt performance of such razing as described in the application. one hundred ninety dollars ($190.00) shall be returned to the depositor upon determination by the Inspector, after inspection, that the razing has been properly and satisfactorily completed, and ten dollars ($10.00) shall be retained as a fee for such inspection. If a building is razed by means of burning by the Division of Fire and Rescue in a drill duly scheduled for the purpose of training and approved by the City Manager, no bond shall be required, but a ten dollar ($10.00) fee shall be charged for inspection of the premises after razing.
