1468.03 MOVING ACCESSORY BUILDINGS.
   (a)    The fee for a permit to move any accessory building within, into or through the City shall be thirty dollars ($30.00) for each such building. In addition, if such moving requires passage over any public way or public ground, the mover shall post with the Chief Building Official or designee a bond, approved by the Director of Law and executed by the mover as principal and by a compensated surety company as surety, in the amount of ten thousand dollars ($10,000), conditioned upon the faithful and prompt performance of the moving of the building as described in the application. The mover shall further deposit with the Chief Building Official or designee a sum sufficient to cover all costs incurred by the City in connection with the proposed move, including, but not limited to, the cost of raising wires, reimbursing members of the Departments of Public Service and Public Safety for services, calculated at hourly rates, reimbursing the City for the cost per mile of the City's vehicles used by employees and officials of the City in supervising the move, performing any repair required on any public way within the City as a direct result of such move and inspecting such building after relocation, if relocated in the City. Any unexpended portion of such deposit shall be returned to the mover by the Inspector upon completion of the moving of the building and the inspection and approval of such relocated building or the safe passage of such building outside the City, as the case may be. The mover shall further deposit with the Inspector a fully paid policy of insurance in an amount and form satisfactory to the Director of Law, which insurance shall fully indemnify the City from any liability incurred in connection with or arising from the moving of such building.
   (b)    If moving any accessory building within the City does not require passage over any public way or public ground, the mover shall comply with the requirements of Chapters 1440 through 1443 of this Code.
