1462.03 SEPARABILITY.
If any clause, sentence, paragraph or part of this Air Pollution Code, or the application thereof to any person or circumstance, is for any reason adjudged by a court of competent jurisdiction to be unconstitutional or invalid, such judgment shall not affect, impair or invalidate the remainder of this Air Pollution Code and the application thereof to any other person or circumstance but shall be confined in its operation to the controversy in which such judgment was rendered and to the person, firm, corporation or circumstances involved. It is hereby declared to be the legislative intent of Council that this Air Pollution Code would have been adopted and such invalid provision not been included.
