(a) The Board of Building Code Appeals shall in every case reach a decision without unreasonable or unnecessary delay. Every decision of the Board shall be in writing and shall indicate the vote upon a decision. Every decision shall be promptly filed in the office of the Chief Building Official or designee and shall be open to public inspection. A copy shall be sent by mail or otherwise to the appellant or other interested party and a copy shall be in the office of the Division of Building after filing.
(b) Variance or Appeal Denied. Upon the denial of a variance or appeal, the appellant shall be permitted 90 days from the day upon which such notice is mailed to initiate and execute, to the satisfaction of the Chief Building Official or designee, all necessary measures to cease the violation.
