1440.23 NONLIABILITY OF CITY.
   In accordance with and subject to Ohio R.C. Chapter 2744, no authorization or inspection of any building, structure, system or plan, under the requirements of this Building and Housing Code, shall be construed in any court as a warranty of the physical condition of such building, structure, system or plan, or the adequacy of the same. The City and its employees shall not be liable in tort for damages for any defect or hazardous or illegal condition of such building, structure, system or plan, or the adequacy of the same. The City and its employees shall not be liable in tort for damages for any defect or hazardous or illegal condition of inadequacy in such building, structure, system or plan, nor for any failure of any component of such, which may occur subsequent to such authorization or inspection.
