1440.18 INSPECTIONS DURING CONSTRUCTION.
   (a)    Examination of Buildings and Structures; Reports of Violations. The Chief Building Official or designee shall examine all buildings and structures in the course of erection, alteration, repair or removal, as often as required to ensure efficient supervision, and shall file written reports with the Division of Permits and Inspections as to all violations of any law or ordinance which the Chief Building Official or designee is required to enforce.
 
   (b)    Approval or Disapproval of Construction. For on-site construction, the Chief Building Official or designee shall, from time to time, upon notification from the permit holder or his or her agent, make or cause to be made any necessary inspections and shall either approve that portion of the construction as completed or shall notify the permit holder or his or her agent wherein the same fails to comply with this Building and Housing Code.
 
   (c)    Notice to Inspect. The permit holder or his or her agent shall give the Chief Building Official or designee twenty-four hours notice prior to the time when inspections need to be performed. Inspections shall generally be made within forty-eight hours after such notification.
