Buildings and structures in existence at the time of the adoption of this Building and Housing Code may have their existing use continued if such use was legal at the time of the adoption of this Code, provided such continued use is not dangerous to life and conforms to the City's property maintenance codes, except as otherwise provided for in these Codified Ordinances.
