For the purpose of this chapter, certain abbreviations, terms, phrases, words and their derivatives shall be construed as defined in other adopted City ordinances. Where terms are not defined in other City ordinances, such terms shall have the ordinarily accepted meanings given in other adopted codes, in the most recent edition of Webster's New Collegiate Dictionary, in the latest edition of Means Illustrated Construction Dictionary, or as the context implies.
