(a) The provisions of this chapter shall apply to the construction, prefabrication, alteration, repair, use, occupancy and maintenance of all new and existing structures and their accessory structures. (See Chapter 1420 for the Building Code itself).
(b)
When the Chief Building Official or designee finds that the proposed design is a reasonable interpretation of the provisions of this code, it shall be approved.
(c) The provisions of this chapter shall also supplement "Chapter One Administration" of the Ohio Building Code (OBC).
