The enforcement of this chapter and all other laws and ordinances in force in the City applicable to the same subject matter shall primarily devolve upon the Building and Zoning Inspector, but the Divisions of Police and Fire and Rescue shall also be charged with the enforcement of this chapter and shall, so far as possible, act in conjunction with the Inspector. Nothing contained in this section shall be construed to exempt any other City officer or department from any obligation that may be required by law.
