In the event that a well is abandoned, the owner or lessee shall notify the Building and Zoning Inspector of such abandonment. The Inspector shall then advise the City Engineer of such abandonment, and the City Engineer shall indicate such abandonment on the map which is on file in his office and which was provided at the time of the original application.
