(A) There is hereby created a Department of Economic Development for the town, which shall be under the control and management of a Commission to be known as the Development Commission.
(B) The Commissioners of the Development Commission shall be appointed in accordance with the Municipal Economic Development Act.
(C) The Development Commission is hereby empowered to carry out the provisions of this section in accordance with the Municipal Economic Development Act.
(D) The Development Commission is hereby empowered to perform all duties and exercise all powers set forth in the Municipal Economic Development Act.
