In the event of a violation of § 93.21, the Director of Planning and/or his or her designee shall issue a written notice to remove the vegetation and send it to the landowners by certified mail, return receipt requested, or an equivalent service permitted under I.C. 1-1-7-1. The notice shall identify the violation and order the landowner or correct the violation within seven calendar days from the date on which the notice is served on the landowner.
