(A) The Police Department shall issue an alarm system permit to the person or their legal entity in control of the property upon submission of an application in accordance with this chapter and payment of the permit fee, unless the Police Department finds that any statement made in the application was incomplete or false.
(B) Immediately after receipt of the application for an alarm permit and payment of the permit fee, the Police Department shall issue an official receipt to the applicant. All information on the application shall be protected as confidential information; provided, however, nothing in this shall prohibit the use of the information for legitimate law enforcement purposes and for enforcement of this chapter.
(C) All monies receipted by the Police Department shall be given over to the Clerk-Treasurer daily along with a cash register total of cash and checks to be deposited. In return, an official receipt of the Office of the Clerk-Treasurer shall be given to the Police Department to be kept as evidence turning over the money.
(D) The permit holder shall promptly notify the Police Department in writing of any change in the information contained in the permit application.
