For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply, unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
SNOW EMERGENCY. A condition declared to be an emergency by the Street Commissioner upon the recommendation of the Police Department, or in his absence, his authorized representative.
SNOW EMERGENCY ROUTE. Those streets or highways so marked in accordance with the provisions of this chapter.
ROADWAY. That portion of a street or highway, designed or ordinarily used for vehicular travel, exclusive of the berm or shoulder.
