§ 70.28 TRAFFIC CONTROL ON SCHOOL PROPERTIES.
   (A)   Authority to regulate. The Town, with respect to property under the authority's jurisdiction and within the reasonable exercise of the Police Department, may adopt traffic regulations governing traffic control on public school grounds when requested by the governing body of the school corporation, per I.C. 9-21-1-3(a)(13).

   (B)   Maximum speeds and stop sign designations.
Adoption of this section shall regulate the maximum speed limit on all Brownsburg School Corporation property to fifteen (15) miles per hour, shall allow for stop signs, no-parking signs, and other regulatory signs to be placed as deemed necessary by the School Corporation, and shall consider the placement of four-way stop signs at the intersection of Odell Street and Airport Road, thus making the intersection a four-way stop.

   (C)   Overall purposes of traffic and safety regulations on Brownsburg School Corporation properties. For the purpose of regulating traffic and safety on School Corporation public properties and at the request of the Board of School Trustees, the Police Department, Fire Territory, and school safety officers are authorized to enforce state laws and regulations on school property, the same being with I.C. 9-21-1-3.
