§ 54.23 CONNECTION, RECONNECTION AND COLLECTION CHARGES.
   (A)   Water connection fees consist of the meter fee, availability flee, material fee, and tap fee. Cost recovery fees may also be required in certain situations where connection is made to a segment of the water distribution system that is identified in an agreement approved by the Town Council. The standard connection fees are established as follows:

Material Fee - Pit, Lid, Ring, Fittings (only if supplied by Town)

   (B)   Materials not provided by the Town must meet Town specifications. Taps not performed by the Town must be inspected by the Town Water Department at the time of tap. Inspection fees are posted in the Development Services Department fee schedule.
   (C)   The standard reconnection fee is established at forty dollars ($40) for the reconnection of water service associated with the restoration of service on a previously delinquent account.
   (D)   Customers may request a disconnection at no charge for reasons unrelated to delinquency. If the Water Department is required to make more than two (2) trips to complete a subsequent reconnection, the third and any subsequent reconnection trip will be charged at twenty dollars ($20) per trip.
   (E)   The Town Manager and/or Assistant Town Manager may authorize the utility billing superintendent to waive a reconnection fee under extenuating circumstances.
