(A) It shall be a violation of this section for any person or entity to use water provided by the Town’s water utility for watering and irrigation purposes in such a way that the water usage results in an overflow of water which is evidenced by the flow of water into the streets, culverts, curbs or gutters. All watering/irrigation should be monitored and adjusted as necessary to prevent over-saturation and/or direct discharge into the street or other paved areas.
(B) A violation of this section is punishable by a fine set forth in § 54.10 below, and this section may be enforced by the issuance of citations by the Town’s utility personnel or by the Town’s Police Department personnel.
