§ 34.052 WITHDRAWALS.
   (A)   Withdrawals from the fund shall be made only by the detective in charge of the investigation as assigned by the Chief of Police, and with the prior approval of the Chief of Police. The Chief shall grant approval for the use of these funds only for the specific purposes enumerated in § 34.050(B). Monies withdrawn from this account must be used for the specific purposes approved by the Chief of Police.

   (B)   The detective in charge of the investigation shall complete a request for funds and a report of expenditures from the Law Enforcement Aid Fund for all monies used from the fund on forms prescribed by the Clerk-Treasurer. The written approval of the Chief of Police shall be obtained and delivered to the Clerk-Treasurer prior to the receipt of monies from the fund. The report shall be completed at a time when the funds are no longer needed for the requested use, but not later than one-hundred eighty (180) days from the original request. The original report shall be furnished to the Clerk-Treasurer. Copies shall be kept by the detective in charge of the investigation and the Chief of Police.
