There is established a five (5) member Board of Police Commissioners, appointed by the Town Council, to consist of four (4) citizen members and one (1) Town Council Member. No more than three (3) members of the Police Commission may be of the same political party. Each Board member must be a resident of the Town The Town Council may not appoint a police officer employed by the Town to serve on the Board.
