§ 31.30 DEPARTMENT REGULATIONS.
   (A)   Appointment, compensation, and tenure of the Chief of Police.
      (1)   The Town Council shall appoint a Chief of Police and shall fix his compensation annually by ordinance adopted pursuant to I.C. 36-8-3-3.
      (2)   The Chief of Police shall serve at the pleasure of the Town Council.

   (B)   Powers and duties. All sworn police officers shall have those powers and duties as set forth in I.C. 36-8-3-6.
