(A) Term.
(1) The Town Clerk-Treasurer is an elected position whose term of office is for four (4) years, beginning at 12:00 noon on January 1 after his or her election and continuing until a successor is elected and qualified.
(2) The Town Clerk-Treasurer shall be elected by the voters of the whole Town.

(B) Compensation. The compensation for the services of the person holding the office of Clerk-Treasurer shall be fixed by the Town Council.
