§ 30.10 MEMBERSHIPS AND AGREEMENTS.
   (A)   Town membership authorized.
      (1)   The Town Council is authorized to budget and appropriate funds from the General Fund or from other funds to provide membership for the Town and the elected and appointed officials and members of the municipality's boards, council, departments or agencies in local, regional, state, and national associations of a civic, educational nature, which have as their purpose the betterment and improvement of municipal operations.
      (2)   The Town Council is further authorized to budget and appropriate funds to pay the expenses of duly authorized representatives to attend the meetings and functions of organizations to which the municipality belongs.

   (B)   Interlocal government agreements. The Town is authorized, pursuant to I.C. 36-1-7-1 through 36-1-7-16, as it may be amended from time to time, to enter into joint agreements for the purchase or exchange of property and services with other governmental bodies through appropriate ordinance or resolution of the Town Council.
