The Council shall select one (1) of its members to be its President and one (1) of its members to be its Vice-President for a definite term, which may not exceed that member’s term of office as a member of the legislative body. The President of the Town Council is the Town Executive. The Vice-President of the Town Council shall serve as Executive in his absence, sickness, inability or refusal to serve. The Town Executive must have the approval of a majority of the Town Council before discharging, reducing in grade, or removing a Town employee.
