§ 30.02 COMPOSITION; TERMS.
   (A)   Five-member (5-member) Council.
      (1)   The Council is the town legislative body and refers to the Town Council of Brownsburg.
      (2)   The Town Council consists of five (5) members.

      (3)   The members of the Council shall be elected at-large by the voters of the whole Town in accordance with I.C. 36-5-2-5.
      (4)   A member of the Town Council must reside within the Town of Brownsburg and the district that the member represents.
      (5)   Members may only be removed through the statutory impeachment process found in I.C. 5-8.

   (B)   Terms of Council Members. The term of office of a Council member is four (4) years, beginning at noon January 1 after the member’s election and continuing until the member’s successor is elected and qualified.
