The purpose of the National Electrical Code as adopted in Section 1309.01 is to provide for the safe minimum standards for electrical installations and for the protection of life, limb, health, property, and for the safety and welfare of the consumer, the general public and the owners and occupants of residential buildings regulated by such code.
