The Municipal Manager shall have the right to shut off the water for repairs, extensions, or tests, and will not be responsible for any accidents or damage which may result from discontinuance of service. Persons using steam boilers, gas engines, or other equipment whose operation depends on a supply of water direct from the service pipe should bear in mind the foregoing rule, and provide a storage of sufficient water to operate a reasonable length of time.
