(a) Whoever violates any provision of Sections 503.01 through 503.03 being an owner or other person in possession of land is guilty of a minor misdemeanor. Whoever violates or fails to comply with any of the provisions of these sections shall be fined not less than ten dollars ($10.00) and not more than one hundred dollars ($100.00). Each day the violation continues after the five days allowed for performance, after service of the notice provided for in Section 503.02 shall constitute a separate offense.
(b) Whoever violates any provision of this chapter for which no other penalty is provided is guilty of a minor misdemeanor for each offense. Each day during which a violator creates, permits, or maintains a public nuisance shall constitute a separate offense. The maximum fine that may be levied against any one violator for any series of violations that relate to the same subject matter shall be five hundred dollars ($500.00).
