(a) There is created the position of Animal Warden within the Municipality, whose duties shall be to pick up animals running at large and to handle complaints made by residents of the Municipality concerning the activity of animals and their owners which might be in violation of the laws of the State of Ohio or the ordinances of the Municipality pertaining to animals. The Animal Warden shall also be responsible for maintaining the municipal kennel. He shall be under the direct supervision of the Municipal Manager.
(b) The Animal Warden shall be authorized to pick up animals running at large and to transport them to the municipal kennel and to the Montgomery County Shelter.
